ORTECH Corporation prepared a Renewal Plan in 1993, which reviewed the status of the organization and outlined potential new opportunities. Based on the Renewal Plan, a detailed Business Plan was prepared, establishing the course for the organization over the next three years. The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade requested that the Consultant identify strengths and weaknesses of the plan, discuss the likelihood of a revenue shortfall, and note any deficiencies in the plan and potential solutions to the deficiencies. In addition, the Consultant was asked to comment on management capability and depth, and human resource capability. A proprietary diagnostic tool, developed by the Consultant, was used to identify and evaluate the pathways connecting ORTECH to its clients and major stakeholders.
