A review of a proposal to convert wood-wastes from Northern Ontario to ethanol was undertaken on behalf of Technology Ontario. The review included an assessment of the current state of wood fermentation technology, the availability of low-cost wood wastes in Northern Ontario, and the financial viability of the project as proposed by its Proponents.
