Ulrike SchlägelUli received a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Bielefeld University, Germany, specializing in mathematical population genetics. Uli was a PhD student with Dr. Mark Lewis. Her thesis work concentrated on developing new models and theory for analyzing animal movement. In particular, Uli studied memory-driven movement strategies of wolves, as well as effects of data sampling rate on movement data analysis.
