Mélodie Kunegel-Lion

I received a Master's Degree in Ecological modelling from Rennes University, France.

I am now a Ph.D. student with Pr. Mark Lewis.
My work focuses on the population dynamics of the Mountain Pine Beetle, Dendroctonus ponderosae. It is invading new habitat east of its native range western North America. I am investigating its spread in this novel habitat in Canada, in particular in the province of Alberta, using computational and statistical models.
