Marie Auger-Methe

Marie, a Ph.D. student co-supervised by Dr. Mark Lewis and Dr. Andrew Derocher http://www.biology.ualberta.ca/faculty/andrew_derocher/ is working to apply state-space models to the analysis of movement by Arctic mammals.

She has completed a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in biology at Dalhousie University, where, under the supervision of Dr. Hal Whitehead, she developed photo-identification methods to identify the individuals of two species of whales, the pilot whale and the narwhal.
