Dean Koch Dean is a PhD student in Applied Mathematics, working under the supervision of Dr. Mark Lewis. He is interested in epidemiology models, and in particular the dynamics of mountain pine beetle populations. Dean completed his BSc at the University of Victoria in 2012, with majors in mathematics and biology.
