Homework assignments:

Notice that all the problems assigned are even-numbered. The purpose of this
is that I want you to put some real efforts to do the homework by
yourself instead of copying from the solution manual (all odd-numbered
problems are in the solution manual). I will make up solution sets for the
homework from time to time. But it is impossible for me to give the
solution for every problem. If you want to see the solution of a specific
homework problem, please tell me or send me a message by email. If no one
asks me, I will assume that nobody has any trouble with the homework.
