Dear Medina and all Instructors teaching Math 3A/B:

Due to a scanning error, one of the textbooks used by your department
was rung up at the wrong price for some students.  We would like these
students to receive a refund.

The book title is "Calculus:Single Variable Early Transcendentals" and
it scanned at $85.30.  The book was supposed to scan at the sale price
of $72.95.

Would you please notify your students who purchased the book this
quarter of this error?  Affected students should come to the bookstore
WITH THEIR RECEIPT between January 24 and 28 and they will be refunded
the difference.

If you have any questions regarding this situation, please call me at
extension 2482.  Thank you for your assistance in helping us correct
this error.
