But more importantly, you need a certain degree of so-called "mathematical maturity". This includes the ability of understanding and writing proofs. HOMEWORK: Homework is assigned each week and due the next Thursday in class. GRADING: 15% HW + 35% Midterm + 50% Final or 40% Midterm + 60% Final, whichever is better. EXAMS: No books, notes and calculators are allowed in exams. You should bring a photo ID to all exams.
