Here is my Curriculum Vitae
(Last updated: January 22, 2013)

Some background
I got my Bachelor's degree (2001) and `Licenciatura' (2002) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Then I came to the University of Alberta for graduate studies. Here I did my MSc in Mathematics (2005) under the supervision of Byron Schmuland, and my PhD in Mathematics (2012) under the supervision of Alexander Litvak and Nicole Tomczak-Jaegermann. Currently I continue to work with them as a Postdoctoral Fellow.

Research
My research deals with properties of random matrices of large dimensions. In my dissertation I investigated estimates for the smallest singular value of random matrices that may contain some null entries (or entries with very small variances). This research fits within the broader context of Random Matrix Theory, and gains vitality from a nice interplay between Probability Theory and Geometric Functional Analysis.
