My research at U of Alberta includes modelling of glioma evolution and wolf movement along seismic lines in Northern Alberta.
During my PhD at Heriot-Watt U (Edinburgh, UK) I worked on mathematical modelling of biological processes related to wound healing in healthy and diabetic subjects; in particular, I focussed on the regeneration of the lymphatic vasculature (lymphangiogenesis). I also worked on modelling the (direct) interactions between a tumour and the nervous system.
Further interests include modelling of peripheral nerve regeneration and behavioural patterns of Drosophila melanogaster in relation to neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.
