Who I am
I am a research scientist with the Government of Alberta at the Department of Environment. I am a risk assessment and ecosystem modeller with the Oil Sands Environmental Management Division's Science Research and Innovation Section. We focus on environmental management in the Oil Sands regions of northern Alberta.
I was a postdoctoral research fellow with Mark Lewis for 4 years until April 2008. Please see my old page for details of research interests and teaching.
Mentoring
I am the chair of Society for Mathematical Biology's mentoring committee. My duties include coordinating the mentoring programme at the Society's annual meeting. For further details see here.
