Personal Information
Education
Born and raised in Tehran, the capital city of Iran, I received a BSc degree in Statistics from
Shahid Beheshti University
in 1991 for the thesis ``Effective Factors in Drug Addiction among Male Adults''
under the supervision of Ali Agha Azadeh.
I continued my studies at Shahid Beheshti University and, eventually, I received my MSc
degree in Statistics for the thesis ``Application of Projections in Bayes Theorems''
under the supervision of Siamak Noorbaloochi in 1993. I registered at
University of Saskatchewan in 1997. I was awarded a PhD degree in Statistics after defending my dissertation on
``The Asymptotic Distributions in Randomization Theory'' supervised by Mikelis G. Bickis in 2003.
Achievements
- Recipient of official appreciation letter from the former president
of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in recognition of distinguished achievements
and for acquiring the first rank among the Bachelors statistics students,
1991.
- Recipient of official appreciation letter from the president of Shahid
Beheshti university, in recognition of my achievements during my
undergraduate studies, 1991.
- Recipient of official appreciation letter from the president of Shahid
Beheshti university, in recognition of achieving first rank among the
Masters students in statistics, 1993.
