The final exam will be based on Chapters 1 -- 4 covered in the class.

It corresponds to Chapters 11--14 in the book. More precisely, Sections 11.1 -- 11.10, 12.1 -- 12.5 (note there will be no problems involving sketching of surfaces), 13.1 -- 13.3 (the curvature and the further material is not included), 14.1, 14.3, 14.4 (linear approximations and differentials are not included), 14.5, 14.6 (maximizing the directional derivative is not included), 14.7, 14.8.

You will get several problems similar to Quiz problems, drill problems, H/A, and problems considered in class.

Please note: there will be a problem based on Section 14.8, most probably there will be a problem based on Section 14.7.
