Description
The MITACS_PINTSCentre of Excellence is one of a network
of Centres of Excellence, the MITACS network, founded with core funding from the National Science and E ngineering R esearch Council of C anada (NSERC) as well as cash and in kind
contributions from industrial sponsors. PINTS stands for Prediction
in INTeracting Systems, and the purpose of this centre is to perform mathematical research into realistic and computer tractable real time prediction, tracking, and signal enhancement strategies.
This approach will allow the feasible classification, localization, and tracking
of multiple interacting bodies (called the signals) based only upon distorted,
corrupted, partial observations of their state.
Project Leader
This Project is led by Dr. Michael Kouritzin. Dr. Kouritzin is a Professor
in Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, University of Alberta. For
