SPHERICAL SHOCK WAVES IN
MAGNETO-GAS-DYNAMICS

Abstract. A Spherically symmetric model describing a blast wave in the solar wind caused by the explosive energy release of a solar flare is considered. The solution of this model is obtained using method of multiple time scale. We derived the transport equations for the amplitudes of resonantly interacting high frequency spherically symmetric waves propagating into perfectly conducting gas pervaded by a magnetic field. Also,the evolutionary behavior of nonresonant wave modes culminating into shock waves is studied.
