RELATIVE EQUILIBRIA IN THE CHARGED n-BODY PROBLEM

Abstract. The charged n-body problem studies the dynamic of n-point particles endowed with masses and electro-static charges moving under the influence of the respective Newtonian and Coulombian forces. In this paper we study some important features for the global flow; pointing the differences with the classical n-body problem. In particular we prove the existence of spatial periodic orbits (relative equilibria) in a particular example.
