Information for Authors
Content.
The Canadian Applied Mathematics Quarterly will consider for publication original
research articles related to the applications of mathematics. All articles submitted
should establish a strong connection between the mathematics and applications.
Papers which develop new mathematical theories based upon scientific principles
and/or the analysis of data are particularly encouraged. We also encourage
outstanding surveys, and we will consider devoting a single issue to papers
presented at a particularly relevant applied workshop or from a conference
organized by an applied mathematics organization.
Submissions.
The Canadian Applied Mathematics Quarterly is pleased to accept submissions
as TeX files prepared on any standard word processor and attached to an email.
We can also retrieve TeX files from your anonymous FTP server.
It helps us if you are able to also send the associated dvi or a pdf
version of the dvi. Hard copies by regular mail are also acceptable -- please send three
copies, typed single sided. English and French are the preferred languages.
To assist referees, please also send unpublished references which are germane to your manuscript.
Computer files can be emailed directly to Dana McCallum ( camq@math.ualberta.ca ).
Hardcopy manuscripts should be submitted to:
CAMQ, Applied Mathematics Institute
Department of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences
University of Alberta

should be clearly identified in the accompanying email/letter and on the title page.
